Charity Guidelines

Ford approval of charity organizations is required prior to event confirmation. Organizations from the pre-approved list will be granted immediate approval. Other charities not included on the list need to be submitted for approval during enrollment and are subject to the vetting process by Program HQ and Ford. Dealers will be notified within five to seven business days if their event registration has been approved.

Guidelines for choosing a Charity:

  • The organization must be in good standing with charity verification sources such as Guidestar or Charity Navigator.
  • Funds raised from the Drive 4 UR Community event must be used for initiatives located within the United States.
  • Organizations and initiatives should operate with an 85/15 cause donation to overhead cost ratio.
